It all began when the captain of our icebreaker, Dmitry Belousov, moved to Guangzhou with his family. This was back in 2012. The multifaceted city captivated him from day one.
On one hand, it inspired with its ancient history and unique character; on the other, it amazed with its level of industrial and commercial development. In this modern and dynamic city of contrasts, ordinary people’s ambitions are born.
The business idea came naturally. As they say, it’s not the person who looks for the business, but the business that finds the person.
Dmitry decided to create the best and most reliable service for sourcing goods from China. And everything started rolling like on a movie set. First, he had to learn Chinese to be one of their own among strangers.
Studying didn’t interfere with business; on the contrary, it helped him better understand local traditions in communication and business conduct.
The Celestial Empire, where everything is built on traditions and connections, opens only to its own. This must be understood and accepted.
